What are the differences between the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas and 2019 Honda Pilot?
Inside the 2019 VW Atlas drivers can choose between a three-passenger second-row bench seat or instead they can opt for two Captain’s Chairs. The 50/50-split third row can be folded down to expand the 20.6 cubic feet of standard cargo space to an impressive 55.5 cubic feet. When drivers need all of the space they can get, the second row of seating can fold down to expand the cargo area to a maximum of 96.8 cubic feet. The competing 2019 Honda Pilot offers seating for seven or eight passengers depending on trim level. The Pilot offers a smaller standard cargo area that measures at just 16.5 cubic feet and expands to only 83.9 cubic feet when both rear rows of seats are folded.
