What is the 2018 Jetta’s MPG rating? 

We’ll just cut right to the chase; the 2018 Volkswagen Jetta averages an impressive 33 MPG combined city and highway, according to the United States Department of Energy. That is a whole ten more miles per gallon on average than the 2018 Ford Fusion AWD. While the Fusion averages just 20 and 29 miles per gallon in the city and on the highway, respectively, the Jetta’s MPG rating in the city is 28, while on the highway it is a whopping 40. And what’s better? The 2018 Jetta, along with its spectacular gas mileage, has earned a five-star overall safety rating.

How does the Jetta’s MPG compare to other models? 

In addition to the Fusion, the Jetta also beats out the Chevy Malibu’s 30 combined MPG (27 city, 36 highway), the Toyota Corolla (31 combined, 28 city, 35 highway), and the Kia Rio (32 combined, 28 city, 37 highway). Across the spectrum, the Jetta beats out many other competitors on the fuel efficiency fight.
