We Run the Promenade 5K Run

What better way to close out summer 2019 than a dog-friendly 5K marathon? For $15, participants can bring their dogs and walk or run along the Promenade at Westlake. Proceeds benefit a local, non-profit rescue organization called Paw Works. After the run, participants can enjoy live musical performances and giveaways. The run begins on Saturday, September 21st at 7 AM and is located at 100 Promenade Way.

Agoura Hills Movies in the Park

The City of Agoura Hills has been hosting a free movie showing on the first Saturday of every month this summer. The final movie being shown as part of this event is Captain Marvel, which will be shown at Morrison Park (29909 Forest Cove Lane) on September 7th.

Intro to Brush Lettering Calligraphy Workshop

Andrea Fowler, owner of the Calligraphy Nerd Instagram account, will be hosting a two-hour workshop on the basics of brush lettering. This workshop is designed with beginners in mind, and will teach basic stroke technique, creating shapes and connecting letters.
