One of the most common items drivers like to keep around is a pair of jumper cables. Keeping a first aid kit in your vehicle is a good idea. You never know when an emergency could arise, and even the most basic first-aid kit can prove helpful while waiting for EMTs to arrive. While fire extinguishers are more situational, it’s a vital tool to have on-hand in the event of a fire. And last but definitely not least: a flashlight. Roadside vehicle problems can be a pain to solve as-is, but having to deal with an emergency with poor visibility can make things even worse.
