Southern California isn’t the region most people think of when Christmas tree season comes around. But hey, we need our Christmas trees here too! Even though you won’t find many arborvitae, spruce, or tree forests around here, that doesn’t mean we don’t have places to get a beautiful evergreen tree for our living room. Christmas Ranch Tree Farms 

1586 Pederson Rd, Thousand Oaks, CA 

This place offers a huge variety of Christmas evergreens. Douglas firs, Noble firs, Grand firs, Fraser firs, and Nordman fir trees can all be found here so everyone’s preferences can be met. The farm is open until Christmas day. The hours are 9 am-7 pm on weekends and 2 pm-7 pm on weekdays.

Big Wave Dave’s Christmas Trees 

3370 Sunset Valley Rd, Moorpark, CA 

There is a ton offered at Big Wave Dave’s! In addition to his precut trees, Dave offers wreaths, boughs, garlands, mistletoe, and even Santa appearances! This spot is open seven days a week until December 23, from 10 am until 9 pm. Santa will be present on December 3, 4, 10, and 11. Bring the whole family on down! This farm is just a short drive north of Thousand Oaks. 

Hagle Tree Farm 

3100 Somis Rd, Somis, CA 

Just a bit outside of Camarillo, Hagle Tree Farm features a great selection of trees, wreaths, garlands, and even showcases pony rides and a petting zoo. Your family is bound to have a great time picking out a beautiful tree and hanging out with some of the cutest and nicest animals around. Hagle Tree Farm is open weekdays from noon until 5 pm, and weekends from 9 am to 5 pm.
