Fender Premium Auto:

The 2019 Volkswagen Atlas SEL Premium trim offers the best Fender Premium Audio System. Fender and Panasonic developed this audio system together specifically for this SUV.

The new 480-watt, 12 channel amplifier produces a sound similar to what you would hear at a concert. There are many speakers included in the SUV. Some of them are woof speakers in each door and third row, tweeters in the front two rows, and wide-frequency speakers in the third row.

MIB II Infotainment:

All 2019 Volkswagen Atlas trim levels come standard with the MIB II Infotainment system. This system features a capacitive touch sensor. This sensor reacts better to light touches similar to how a smartphone screen responds to touch.

The 2019 Volkswagen Atlas S trim level has a Composition Color unit which has a 6.5-inch display screen. Included in this unit are an SD card, a USB port, a rearview camera, and Bluetooth.

The SE trim and above have an 8-inch capacitive touch display screen. The SE and SE w/ Technology trims also have the Composition Color unit. The SEL and SEL Premium trims have an additional Discover Media and navigation system.

There are three components that make up the Car-Net technology.

The first component is the Car-Net App-Connect. This technology comes standard on all 2019 Volkswagen Atlas trims. It connects your smartphone to your vehicle. This allows you to display some apps directly on your vehicle’s screen through technologies such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Mirror Link.

The second component is Car-Net Security and Service. This technology is available in the SE trim and above. Some of the features include Automatic Crash Notification, Manual Emergency Call, Roadside Assistance, and Stolen Vehicle Location Assistance.

The third component is the Car-Net Guide and Inform. This is available on the SEL and SEL Premium trims. This technology gives enhanced navigation directions and adds extra information like gas prices and real-time traffic updates.
