Which Volkswagen models offer the most space?

Here are the Volkswagen models that offer the most interior space for cargo and passengers.
The top three most spacious Volkswagen models are the Touareg, the Tiguan and the SportWagen. Each of these models have their own specialty when it comes to balancing their interior space between passengers and cargo, so take a look below to see which one best fits your needs.

The largest VW vehicle in the line today, the Volkswagen Touareg is a premium SUV that comes complete with comfortable seating for everyone and storage space for their gear. With 36.7 inches of legroom and 38.9 inches of headroom for second row passengers, and 41.4 inches of legroom and 39.6 inches of headroom for the front row, even tall passengers can sit comfortably in the Touareg. In addition to its spacious passenger area, the model also offers 32.1 cubic feet of dedicated cargo space, 64 cubic feet with the second row seats folded down.
Yet another SUV in the VW line, the compact Volkswagen Tiguan conserves space on the outside, while offering plenty of room for everyone on the inside. Legroom for the front row passengers sits at 40.1 inches while passengers also benefit from 39.1 inches of headroom. For the second row, 35.8 inches of legroom and 39 inches of headroom go a long way to offer a comfortable ride. As for cargo, a 23.8 cubic feet of cargo space expands to a total of 56.1 cubic feet when the second row seats are folded.
Volkswagen Golf SportWagen
While you might not expect it to have as much space as the Touareg of the Tiguan, as the Volkswagen SportWagen is considerably smaller than the other two, this compact wagon offers a surprising amount of interior space. Offering the sporty styling of the Golf, with a versatile, elongated shape, the SportWagen offers front row passengers 41.2 inches of legroom and 38.6 inches of headroom and the second row gets 35.6 inches of legroom and 38.6 inches of headroom. There’s also plenty of room for everyone’s stuff, with 30.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row, 66.5 cubic feet when the seats are folded.
