There certainly was nothing wrong with the 2015 VW Golf’s intuitive infotainment features, but the 2016 Golf does come with available VW Car-Net App-Connect. This new system integrates Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for easy smartphone connectivity.

This package now includes Forward Collision Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Traffic Alert, Park Steering Assistant and Park Distance Control. It is available on SE and Autobahn models.
