2017 Volkswagen Tiguan Wolfsburg and Sport trims
For families looking for a secure ride to take them from place to place, the Volkswagen Tiguan has always been a great option. It offers a spacious interior and great interior technology and features design to add convenience and entertainment to the driving experience. It should come as no surprise that the 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan offers all of these same qualities, however it’s worth noting that certain changes have been made to the model’s lineup to ensure that its best qualities are made more available to drivers. Forging the way with these changes to the Tiguan is the addition of two new trim levels, the Wolfsburg and the Sport trims, which will be replacing the SE and R-Line trims.
Previously, in order to get the Tiguan’s more advanced and high-tech features buyers had to upgrade to one of the higher trim levels. However, this model year, Volkswagen is making its more upscale features more accessible through the new 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan Wolfsburg and Sport trim grades.
The Wolfsburg trim will be replacing the previous R-Line model, and will feature much of its same perks with the brand’s unique Wolfsburg Edition branding on its interior and exterior. This model will also offer a standard panoramic sunroof for good measure.
As for the SE trim, the new Sport trim will replace it, which will now feature 18-inch gray Mallory aluminum-alloy wheels, body color side sills and rear pumper as well as accent back side mirror door caps, a sport suspension, Climatronic automatic dual-zone climate control and more. The Sport trim will also have available Vienna leather seating surfaces, power driver and passenger seats and power folding mirrors.

With the compact SUV offering its best value yet, the base Tiguan S trim will feature the Volkswagen Composition Media infotainment system, functioning on a 6.3-inch screen. It also offers USB, Bluetooth and VW Car-Net App Connect connectivity. Drivers will also offer additional media features including HD radio, two SD card slots, two phone syncing capability and a SiriusXM Satellite Radio trial.
With these great features now available as a standard in the 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan, it’s easier than ever for you to get behind the wheel of a model that has all of the tech you’re looking for, without breaking the bank.
